The newly appointed Commissioner of Police in Abia State has assumed duty with a warning to officers and personnel of the command against indiscipline, misconduct and actions capable of undermining public confidence in the Nigeria Police Force.
The new commissioner said discipline would remain a major priority under his leadership, stressing that officers must conduct themselves professionally and respect the rights of citizens while carrying out their duties.
He urged personnel to remain committed to protecting lives and property, maintaining law and order and responding promptly to security concerns across the state.
