President Tinubu Honours Nigerian NFL Champion Ojomo for Super Bowl Triumph

President Bola Tinubu has extended a warm welcome to Nigerian-born NFL champion Morotoluwa Ojomo, acknowledging that the athlete’s recent Super Bowl victory and his display of the Nigerian flag reignited national pride.

The President commended Ojomo’s determination and highlighted his administration’s commitment to collaborating with talented Nigerians in the diaspora, especially in the field of sports, to boost human capital development.

During a meeting at the State House in Abuja on Friday, President Tinubu told Ojomo that his unwavering focus could inspire many young Nigerians and contribute to the development of future athletes across the country.

Ojomo, a defensive tackle, recently clinched his first Super Bowl title with the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59, where they defeated the Kansas City Chiefs with a commanding 40-22 victory on 9th February, 2025, in New Orleans.
